Bandon offers a terrific vacation on the Oregon coast with some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Everyone in Bandon was so nice and willing to help me find my way around when I visited. This is a good thing too, because there is a lot to do here; enjoy beautiful unspoiled beach and two very nice state parks. A perfect fit to any afternoon would include a visit to the Bandon Historical Society Museum and West Coast Game Park Safari. There is also local horseback riding, a nine-hole golf course, and a number of terrific local coastal shops to visit.
Make sure to pay a visit to Bandon's history by viewing the Coquille River Lighthouse in Bullards State Park. There are also two National Wildlife refuges in Bandon (Oregon Islands & Bandon Marsh). If you don't have a problem with sea-sickness, Bandon offers a terrific marina that suits itself to a visit to the Pacific Ocean for some fishing. Bandon looks forward to your visit!
