During low tide, you can comb the beach for tons of driftwood, rocks, shells, clams, and rocks. Expect a laidback vacation, and beautiful unspoiled beach while visiting this city. Waldport's less populated beach is one of the nicest contributors to a relaxing vacation. If you do manage somehow to unwind, and you want a little more adventure, you can travel south 25 miles to the well-known Sea Lion Caves. If you are really adventurous you can take Highway 101 north to Newport and visit their two lighthouse and numerous interpretative centers. Take a ride over the Alsea Bay Bridge and visit Waldport the next time you are on Oregon's central coast.
